Charlie Jackson, a thirty-year veteran of the Weymouth Police Department, realized a lifelong dream when he opened The Referee's Crease in May 1983. Charlie's true passion was hockey, and he is best remembered for his contributions to the sport. He was a fixture on the Weymouth Hockey scene for over thirty years as a player, coach, and referee. Charlie's enduring legacy is the family-owned Referee's Crease. Charlie's skill for sharpening and repairing skates was unsurpassed and was passed on to his stepsons.
